Just over a week to go until our scheduled flights to USA - trying to get everything in order to try to make sure that we don't stumble over a missing piece of paperwork etc. We've booked our Covid tests for next Thursday so we're now trying to steer clear of people as much as we can - a kind of self-imposed isolation. Sometimes it can't be avoided - for instance, Jo has a hospital appointment next Tuesday and I'm trying to get an appointment for ear wax micro suction. I think I had an ear infection a couple of weeks ago and that was followed by a build up of wax blocking the ears. I've been self treating it but only been partly successful so I've now reverted to the medical professionals. I don't fancy taking a long haul flight with ear problems.
Since my last post, we've had Easter weekend - Gary and Luca came over for their Easter Sunday meal. Jo had set a lovely table for our meal:
Afterwards, it was through to the back room to watch a bit of footy. Jo was wishing it was her girls that were present, I think! Neither Luca nor Gary like posing for photos so I have to try to capture them unawares:
Last weekend we had Ross up - he was attending a wedding of his one of his pals. He put on his "wedding suit" which was still in his wardrobe here. Ross is a reluctant photo model as well, but this was an opportunity to take a photo for his passport which is due for renewal now so I snapped away until we got one that was accepted by the Passport Office online:
I don't really have all that much to say. Hopefully there'll be a lot more from our upcoming holiday.
