Next week, I hope to be able to go for a short hill-walk with some pals and, from Wednesday, we'll be able to go indoors in pubs etc - although I would always to prefer to be outside anyway.
There's more football on TV now so that can while away the hours - but I've been pretty selective so far and haven't done much binge-watching.
Jo and I are going out for a short walk this morning so it's time for me to end this blog post. I'll close with a photo that's stuck on a tree down at the "Platties" area (for those of you who know Banchory). It's where the Banchory railway station used to be. The Deeside line from Aberdeen to Ballater closed in 1966 as part of the Beeching cuts. The line was single track and that's why I was rather surprised to see this old photo:
It was tricky to photograph as it was wrapped round a tree but I hope you can make out that there were several tracks there. I guess Banchory must have been a bit of a shunting stop?
