The wedding

So that was the wedding, that was. A lovely day - it was really nice that the weather allowed the service to be held outdoors in the garden.

This morning, Jo asked for a slight diversion on the way home, to do some further Ancestry explorations, so we headed off to the tiny hamlet of St. Quivox, where there were only a few houses, including the former station master's, a church and a graveyard. The names on a few of the stones included some Stewarts, but it was the other side of my family that Jo was looking for - but no luck. There was a big, empty mausoleum in the graveyard, beside the church:
