Bit of a grey day at work today. I'm still dealing with a staff issue that exploded last week. Seems to be a bit quieter just now, so I'll let sleeping dogs lie for a day or two. I don't often lose my cool at work but I was pretty close to the edge last week. Say no more for now.

The weekend was nice - I even managed 2 games of golf in very pleasant conditions for the time of year - my first golf for a month - just in time for our trip to Tenerife this Friday. One of the guys (Ian McRae) broke his collar bone in 4 places so won't be able to play golf - but he's coming along for the holiday anyway.

Got a lot to do before then - including tomorrow morning when I'm running another one of my "Finance for Non-Financial Managers" courses in Fraserburgh. Always difficult to assess what level to pitch these at - not knowing how much prior knowledge the participants have.

The 2 desks Jo bought from M & S (going cheap - shop soiled) arrived and are currently in the garage awaiting the paint job that Jo and Ross are going to do on the downstairs room.

Luca's back at school so Jo's going over there again tomorrow - I'll go over for tea on my way back from Fraserburgh. Ross has another shift at Tease.
