Luca arrives!

Jo and I went out to the Derbar on Saturday night with Colin and Johanne - the second night in a row I'd had a curry. No more calories required for a while.

On Sunday night, Gary brought Luca over for a couple of school in-service days. They came straight from Luca's judo class and he proudly showed off his latest certificate and belt:

Today (Monday), Jo was out for an extended lunch so Luca and I jumped on our bikes and cycled up to Inchmarlo driving range, where Luca had some success hitting balls, but a few failures as well - https://youtu.be/VipENtmsxFo

We had our lunch there too. Luca opted for the hot chocolate with marshmallows and a flake - but, thankfully, he declined the cream:

It started to spit as we cycled back along the old Deeside railway line, so we had to wash the bikes when we got back home:

This Thursday, I've got the annual Cardio Clinic in Banchory, and today I finally received the appointment I'd been waiting for - Electrocardiograph at Aboyne on 1st December.
