After a sleepless night, I drove in to work on Friday morning then dashed home to pick up Jo and head south west. Our new kitchen had arrived, as scheduled, at 7:30 am and is now safely stored in our garage, ready for installation in just over a week's time.
The traffic was pretty bad and we were a bit late by the time we got to Sports Orthotics in Hamilton for my wedge fitting. It feels pretty awkward - don't know how I'll cope - feel like I'm wearing high heels!
The short drive from there to Ayr allowed us to check in in good time to have a couple of beers in the garden before dinner:

After dinner we took a short stroll up to Lauren's pad, where preparations were underway in the marquee:
